DAAD Germany Scholarships 2023 for International Students

Brief description:

The DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) scholarship is a prominent financial program provided by the German government to international students, researchers, and academics wishing to study, do research, or enhance their education in Germany. The program's goal is to encourage intellectual interchange and international collaboration.

The DAAD scholarship covers several aspects of studying or researching in Germany, such as tuition, living expenses, health insurance, travel costs, and language training. Scholars are often chosen based on their academic achievements, research plans, and motivation.

There are many DAAD scholarships available, based on the degree of study and academic subject. Some notable examples are:

1-DAAD Postgraduate Scholarships: These scholarships assist overseas students pursuing a master's or doctorate degree at a German university. The length of sponsorship varies depending on the degree of study.

2-DAAD Research Awards: These awards are given to international scholars and academics who desire to undertake research in Germany. The duration of the grant is determined by the nature of the research study.

3-DAAD Study Scholarships: These scholarships are open to highly qualified overseas students from all fields who intend to study for a full-time bachelor's or master's degree at a German institution. They last the full term of the degree program.

4-Short-Term Research Awards: These are from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD): These awards help foreign doctorate candidates and young researchers for short-term research stays in Germany. The award usually lasts between one and six months.
