Erasmus Mundus Scholarships 2024 Master of Science in Soils and Global Change


 

Brief Description:


 The International Master of Science in Soils and Global Change (IMSOGLO) is a joint Master's education in soil sciences organized by four renowned European universities that cover both biogeochemical and physical components. 

IMSOGLO is a two-year Master's degree program (120 ECTS) that culminates in the combined degree of International Master of Science in Soils and Global Change. The program trains students from all over the world to meet the constantly changing demands of business, government, and research on the sustainable use and management of soils in a changing environment.

Scholarships Benefits: 


  • 4500-9000 euro per year
  • 1000 euro per month
  • 1000 euro travel allowance for two years




Eligibilities: 
  • Minimum of 180 ECTS credits is required for those applicants who have a previous degree in chemistry, biology, geology, civil or agricultural engineering, environmental or agricultural sciences, etc.) or an equivalent level from a recognized university or engineering college.

  • Minimum 40 ECTS credits or equal in natural sciences (physics, chemistry, mathematics, ecology, biology, geography, environmental sciences, and agricultural sciences).
  • TOEFL IBT (total score of at least 90 out of 120), TOEFL IBT Home Edition tests are accepted

  • Academic IELTS (at least 6.5 Band with at least 6 for writing)

  • Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE)
  • TOEIC, Duolingo will not be accepted.

 

English Language Exemption: 

 

  • If you have obtained your previous higher education degree in the Philippines, Rwanda, Gambia, Ghana, Guyana, Hongkong, India, Ireland, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Malta, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Singapore, South Africa, Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom, Australia, Belize, Botswana, Cameroon, Canada, Papua New Guinea, United States of America, Zambia or Zimbabwe, you can be exempted to provide an English Language Test Certificate. if you provided the English Language of Instruction Certificate issued and signed by your previous university. This certificate should clearly state that the language of instruction during your previous degree was English


  • A Language of Instruction Certificate will not be accepted if you have obtained your degree in another country than the countries listed above.

Applications for intake in September 2024 will open in October 2023.
  • The deadline is 28 February 2024 for non-European students
  • The deadline is 31 May 2024 for European students
